We’re looking forward to the digital release of the Paddington movie on Friday! Nothing says Paddington more than orange marmalade, so my 4 year old and I whipped up some orange marmalade thumbprint cookies. I wish I could bottle up the smell that filled my house as they were baking, because it was so yummy! They tasted just as delicious, the buttery cookie paired with the sweet jam is the perfect combination. Now I know why Paddington can’t get enough of orange marmalade! These cookies will make a great addition to our movie night tomorrow! Speaking of, don’t forget to download your free Paddington Movie Night Party Kit. The kit comes with everything you’ll need to plan a special Paddington themed night for your kids: invitations, banner, cupcake wrappers, food labels, activities, recipe ideas and more! Here’s my cookie recipe for your festivities.

INGREDIENTS
(makes almost 2 dozen)

3/4 cups butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
Orange marmalade

DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat softened butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla together. Slowly mix in flour, a 1/2 cup at a time until creamy and smooth. Roll dough into balls and place a couple inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Use your thumb or the back of a measuring teaspoon to make an indentation in the middle of each cookie. Fill each cookie with approximately 1 teaspoon of orange marmalade. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown. Enjoy while watching Paddington
